Kristen Bell is an Emmy-nominated actress, philanthropist, New York Times bestselling children’s book author, and producer who stars in the highly acclaimed Netflix comedy series Nobody Wants This, alongside Adam Brody, in which she also serves as an executive producer. Recent acting credits include leading roles in the Amazon Prime comedy film The People We Hate at the Wedding, alongside Allison Janney and Ben Platt, and Netflix’s parody comedy The Woman in the House. Bell will star as Mrs. Claus in the upcoming Universal Pictures Christmas action comedy Violent Night 2, alongside David Harbour.

She also recently starred in the NBC series The Good Place, the animated children’s series Do, Re & Mi, and Queenpins. In 2019, Bell reprised her role as Anna in Frozen 2, which has earned over $1.45 billion, surpassing the $1.2 billion Frozen earned worldwide.

In 2025, Bell was named one of the “100 Most Influential People of 2025” by Time. Her Broadway credits include The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Crucible, opposite Liam Neeson and Laura Linney. Her Off-Broadway credits include Reefer Madness and A Little Night Music.

In 2020, Bell became a New York Times bestselling author with the release of her first children’s book, The World Needs More Purple People, which she coauthored with Benjamin Hart. Bell and Hart made the No. 1 New York Times Best Sellers list again with their follow-up title, The World Needs More Purple Schools.
