Access to and use of the California Conference for Women (“The Conference”) Website and our Virtual Event (collectively referred to as “Our Website”) are subject to the following conditions. Should you disagree with these conditions, we must ask you not to use this Website.

Modification right

The Conference reserves the right to modify the Conditions of Use of Our Website at any time and at Our sole discretion. By continuing to use Our Website after any such changes, you indicate that you accept the modified Conditions of Use.

Our Website is intended for general information purposes only, by accessing Our Website, you agree to use the information contained here solely for those purposes. The Conferences for Women does not authorize you to, and you agree not to, use, copy, distribute, modify, transmit, revise, reverse engineer, republish, translate, sell, exploit, post, re-post or create derivative works of the contents of Our Website for any purpose without Our prior written permission. 

The authorized uses specified above do not apply to the design elements or layout of Our Website. Some elements of Our Website are protected by trade dress and other laws – we do not authorize their copying or imitation in whole or in part. 

Right to prevent access

The Conference reserves the right to take any steps We consider necessary to prevent or restrain any prohibited or unauthorized use of or access to Our Website. This includes, but is not limited to, legal action or suspending or terminating your access to Our Website with or without notice.

Any use of Our Website not expressly permitted in these Conditions of Use is strictly prohibited. The Conference retains all copyright and other proprietary rights in the contents of Our Website.

Users not to post restricted materials

Monetary cap on damages

The above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you to the extent that applicable law prohibits the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In any event, the total liability of The Conference, its affiliates and any directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, subcontractors or agents of the foregoing to you hereunder shall not exceed your online charges for accessing this site.

All information, including personally identifiable information that you provide while accessing or using Our Website, is subject to these Conditions of Use and more specifically the Privacy Policy (“Policy”) found on the Website.  By accessing and using this Website you acknowledge having reviewed the entire Conditions of Use and agree to abide by their conditions.

We Are Not Responsible for User Created Content, including but not limited to content with an Exhibit Booth. By using Our Website, you acknowledge and understand that The Conference does not endorse and is not responsible for any shared, posted, or linked to comments, references, opinions, claims, advice or other content shared here by any user of Our Website.

From time to time we may have to remove posts, comments, or other shared content comment from Our Website. Here’s why:

·   No endorsement of 3rd parties
    Your comment inappropriately references a product, service, or website (ours or someone else’s). 
·   No vulgarity
    Your comment includes vulgarity. If you use bad language, your comment or post may be removed. We may also remove comments and posts we deem to be a personal attack of any kind or which we deem to be offensive, including for use of terms that target specific ethnic, racial, religious, age or gender orientation groups.
