Patsy Woods Martin

Patsy Woods Martin is founder and CEO of I Live Here, I Give Here, Austin’s Campaign for Philanthropy. She leads a collaboration of philanthropists, nonprofit organizations and local businesses. The group is working to increase awareness of the needs in Central Texas and the role each of us can play in providing solutions to those needs. Before assuming her role at I Live Here, I Give Here, Martin was the vice president of resource development for United Way Capital Area. From a Texas ranching family and trained as a chemist at Texas Tech University, she has been a key fundraiser for a wide range of Austin nonprofit organizations for over twenty years. Martin received Leadership Austin’s Polly Scallorn award for community trusteeship in 2010 and has been recognized for her work in the community by Ballet Austin, the Junior League of Austin, and the Girl Scouts of Central Texas.
