What should I know before heading to the venue?

Expect heavy traffic, ongoing construction, and large crowds on event day. We encourage you to plan ahead, leave early, and allow for extra travel time to ensure a stress-free arrival. Check out our Travel Guide for detailed information to assist with your planning.

What are the parking options & do you offer complimentary shuttles?

There’s limited parking at UT, and there is satellite parking and continuous complimentary shuttles (in partnership with LAZ Parking and RoadRunner Charters) from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Where is Ride Share drop-off and pick-up?

Ride Share is strongly encouraged! Drop-off and pick-up is located at the roundabout on VIP Road on the northeast side of Moody Center, near the Flag Entrance and Suites/Loges Entrance. (See Maps for reference.)

What public transit station should I use?

The Downtown Cap Metro Station (401 E. 4th Street) serves the UT Austin campus and Moody Center.

For your convenience, CFW has arranged for continuous complimentary shuttles to the Moody Center (in partnership with LAZ Parking and RoadRunner Charters) from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Shuttle service is located at the corner of E. 5th Street & Red River Street. Plan your trip on CapMetro.org.

Are there ADA accommodations?

Yes! ADA drop-off and pick-up is located at Robert Dedman Drive on the northwest side of the venue, near the Dell Technologies Plaza and West Gate Entrance. (See Maps for reference.)

Entry Requirements
What credentials do I need for entry?

Your printed badge is your official ticket and required for entry before passing security. You must print and bring it with you. Lanyards and badge holders will be provided onsite as you are required to wear it throughout the day.

Your badge contains important information about your assigned seat and your assigned lunch pick-up location.

When and how will I receive my badge?

Your badge will be emailed to you on Monday, October 27.

Are rolling bags permitted inside the venue?

No, rolling bags are not permitted. Mobile Bag & Coat Checks are available ($5 per item) outside before security at the Rideshare Entrance (Upper Level) and Dell West Plaza (Main Concourse).

Is there a clear bag policy?

The clear bag policy is not in effect for the Conference. We highly encourage that you pack light, bring smaller bags, and fewer items to avoid delays at security. Laptops are permitted, but will slow security so try to unplug if you can.

Am I required to go through Security?

Yes, all attendees are required to pass through security (and magnetometers).

What if I forget or lose my badge?

Badges are required for entry to the Moody Center. If you forget your badge, you will need to visit the Box Office located on the southwest side of the building at Dell West Plaza. (Please note that wait times may be extensive.)

Program & Offerings
Where does the program take place?

The Keynotes and Power Talks take place in the Arena. You will view everything from your assigned Arena seat (designated on your badge). 

The Learning Lab is located on the Upper Concourse at East Gate and offers quick-hit mini-classes with audience Q&A on a variety of career and wellbeing topics. Space is incredibly limited though — about 150 with standing room — and it’s first-come, first-served, so plan ahead!

How is the program structured this year?

The program is continuous in the Arena from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The day is flexible and fluid and designed so you can pop in and out of sessions, take breaks, and stretch your legs anytime. Participate in the sessions and speakers that resonate with your interests and needs. The program includes:

  • Two Keynote Sessions (10:00 AM – 11:30 AM & 1:15 PM – 2:30 PM)
  • Power Talks Leadership (8:30 AM – 9:45 AM)
  • Power Talks Career (11:45 AM – 1:00 PM)
  • Power Talks Wellbeing (2:45 PM – 4:00 PM)
  • Learning Lab (8:45 AM – 9:45 AM & 11:45 AM – 1:00 PM)
How do I access the agenda?

The full agenda is available on our website and in the CFW App. A printed Schedule Overview will also be available onsite.

 

Do I need to sign up for any sessions in advance?

No advance sign-up needed! Enjoy Keynotes and Power Talks right from your assigned seat in the Arena. Learning Lab sessions have limited space ( ~150 with standing room) and are first come, first served so plan ahead!

The only offering that requires advance sign up is CareerWorks — home to Career Coaching, Resume Review, and Professional Headshots. You can join the virtual line when you arrive onsite (QR code and instructions will be available on the Schedule Overview and signage.)



What are Power Talks?

We have reimagined our traditional breakouts and introduced Power Talks brought to you in the Arena. They are broken into three themed blocks — Leadership, Career, and Wellbeing. Each block features two solo speakers and one Executive Mentor panel, and offers short power-packed bursts of advice, insights, and storytelling.

What is the Learning Lab?

The Learning Lab is a smaller stage on the Upper Concourse at the East Gate offering quick-hit miniclasses (10 minutes) and audience Q&A (5 minutes) on a variety of career and wellbeing topics. Space is incredibly limited (~150 with standing room) and it’s first come first served, so plan ahead!

When do Career Coaching, Resume Review, and Headshots take place and how do I sign up?

Complimentary 1:1 Career Coaching, Resume Review, and Professional Headshots are part of our CareerWorks offering and will take place in the Germania Club on the lower level throughout the day — except during the Keynote Sessions.

Walk-ins are not permitted. Advance sign-up is required by joining the virtual line when you arrive onsite (QR code and instructions will be available on the Schedule Overview and signage). 

Space is limited and services are available first-come, first-served. Operating hours are: 7:30 – 9:45 AM; 11:45 AM – 1:15 PM; 2:45 – 5:00 PM



Is a printed program available?

CFW no longer provides printed program books, but a printed Schedule Overview with key highlights will be available onsite. And the CFW App is also a great resource and includes details on sessions, speakers, and all offerings.

Do you have a Conference App?

Will there be an Interactive Hall this year?

We don’t have a traditional Hall this year — instead, we’re introducing a transformed expo experience: The Concourse Collection.

Spanning the Main and Upper Concourse levels (including the Dell and Indeed Clubs), we’ve curated an experience bursting with energy and connection that you won’t want to miss. Lunch
Is lunch provided?

Yes! A grab-and-go boxed lunch with filtered water will be provided (one per person). Please refer to the Menu for specifics.

Where do I pick up my boxed lunch?

There are eight Lunch Distribution locations throughout the Main and Upper Concourse levels. Pick-up takes place between 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Check your badge for your assigned pick-up location. If you are seated in a Suite or Loge, lunches will be delivered directly between 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM.

What time is lunch?

You decide! Boxed lunch distribution locations will be open 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM, so stop by and eat when you’re ready.

Where do I eat lunch?

You decide! Flexible pickup hours allow you to choose when and where to recharge without being confined to one assigned table. There is limited seating available on the Brown Outdoor Terrace. There are lounges, tables, chairs and high tops throughout the concourses and inside the Dell and Indeed Clubs. And you can eat at your assigned Arena seat which is what we suggest — so you don’t miss any of the programming!

Do you offer a vegan/ vegetarian/ gluten-free option?

The deadline to request an alternate meal was October 10th. No additional requests can be accommodated at this time. Please refer to the Menu for ingredient information.

What if I have special dietary needs and/or allergies not satisfied by the alternate lunch option?

If the alternative lunch option does not meet your specific needs, you’re welcome to bring your own food for the day. Additionally, concessions will be available to purchase food. The Moody Center is cashless, so plan to use a card or mobile payment.

Amenities
Is there security?

Yes, all Conference attendees are required to pass through security (and magnetometers) upon entry. You will not be able to pass security without showing your printed badge.

Rolling bags are not permitted inside the venue. Mobile Bag & Coat Checks are available ($5 per item) outside, prior to security at the Rideshare Entrance (Upper Level) and Dell West Plaza (Main Concourse).

Is there a coat coat check available?

Yes, Mobile Bag & Coat Checks, sponsored by Insight, are available ($5 per item) outside, prior to security at the Rideshare Entrance (Upper Level) and Dell West Plaza (Main Concourse). The cost is $5 per checked item.

Rolling bags and suitcases are not permitted inside the Moody Center and you will be required to check them to enter the venue.

Is free Wi-Fi available?

Yes, and we encourage you to connect when you arrive to avoid any connectivity issues. Look for “MoodyCenterWIFI” in your settings — no password or login required.

Will Concessions be open?

Yes! A variety of concessions will be open all day, and bar service starts at 2:00 PM. The Moody Center is cashless, so plan to use a card or mobile payment.

Are there refillable water stations available?

Yes! There are Hydration Stations (and complimentary refillable water bottles) available in the Dell and Indeed Clubs throughout the day, thanks to our sponsor Austin Water.

I am a nursing mother — where can I pump?

We have several options available onsite, however, no refrigeration is provided in these spaces so please plan accordingly.

There is a nursing pod available on the Main Concourse near Portal 10. You can also find several single restrooms in the following locations:

  • Main Concourse (Behind Section 104)
  • Upper Concourse (Near Section 205)
Do you have accommodations in place for the hearing impaired?

The Keynote Sessions and Power Talks will be closed-captioned.

What if I need another accommodation?

Will men’s restrooms be available?

Men’s restrooms will be limited, as most have been converted to women’s. You can find men’s restrooms in the following locations:
