WARNER SANTIAGO (He/Him) is the global director of DE&I learning and development at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. He leads Takeda’s collaborative approach to DE&I learning globally. Santiago is responsible for refreshing Takeda’s global governance framework and deploying DE&I best practices to help attract, develop, and sustain high-performing, inclusive teams. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Santiago has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of DE&I, workforce development, and equal employment opportunity. He is also a passionate human rights lawyer and a lecturer at Harvard University. Santiago received a BA in political science and international relations from the University of PuertoRico at Mayaguez, a JD from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, an LLM in international legal studies from American University Washington College of Law, and an MS in negotiation and conflict resolution from Columbia University, and an EdM from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
