Tram Tran

TRAM TRAN, MD, is an internationally renowned liver and viral specialist and is the vice president, medical affairs at Gilead Sciences, focused on liver diseases, fibrosis, and, recently, COVID-19. Prior to working at Gilead she was the medical director of liver transplantation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, USA and professor of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA for over sixteen years where she also developed and started the Gastroenterology ACGME Fellowship. She has authored and co-authored numerous abstracts, papers, and books on liver disease, published in journals such as Hepatology, the New England Journal of Medicine, and Liver Transplantation, and has served on the editorial board for Hepatology, the American Journal of Gastroenterology, and Gastroenterology along with her role as AASLD Chair of the Practice Guidelines Committee. She maintains clinical and teaching activities in Los Angeles. @GileadSciences
