Power Circles: How to Build Your Personal Board of Advisors

Tiffany Tavarez is Vice President, Community Impact and Strategic Partnerships for Jefferson’s Office of Community Impact & Belonging which is responsible for aligning community impact, health equity and engagement initiatives across Jefferson. Her career has spanned across institutions such as Wells Fargo, Exelon, Comcast, Temple University, and the Pew Center for Arts and Heritage. She has been consistently recognized for her leadership, mentorship and civic engagement by Philadelphia Business Journal, City & State Pennsylvania, and Metro Philadelphia, among others.

Most recently, she was named a 2025 recipient of the Eliza Shirley Women in Leadership Award by the Salvation Army of Easter PA & a Marshall Memorial Fellow (MMF) by the German Marshall Fund. Additionally, she serves as vice chair of Esperanza as well as Board Emerita of Monument Lab. She is a first-generation college graduate who has earned degrees from both Temple University and University of the Arts.
