Thea Charles

Professional Certified Coach

Thea Charles, PCC, is a multifaceted professional in the coaching world. She is a certified coach, instructor, and consultant dedicated to helping people and organizations grow with clarity and purpose. Through Thea Renel Coaching, she partners with clients to build confidence, deepen awareness, and navigate change with balance and resilience. An ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Hogan 360 certified practitioner, Thea brings a thoughtful, grounded approach that helps clients see the big picture when they feel stuck in the details. Drawing on her background as a leader in high-risk hospital laboratories, she supports individuals and teams in building trust, perspective, and authentic leadership. As Director of Education for the University of New Hampshire’s Certificate in Professional Coaching program, Thea leads the strategic vision for a 10-month ICF-accredited course, ensuring students are equipped to excel in their coaching practice. She also serves as a mentor coach for coaches pursuing ICF certification. A long-standing champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), Thea has led initiatives since the early 2000s and served as VP of DEI for the International Coaching Federation’s New England chapter, where she built and grew an engaged committee. She is passionate about introducing coaching to new audiences and volunteering with organizations that expand access for underrepresented groups.
