SUSAN GONZALES is the founder and CEO of AIandYou, a nonprofit that was launched in 2019 to educate ordinary people about artificial intelligence. AIandYou aims to help policymakers and communities prepare for the opportunities and risks of AI in easy-to-understand language. www.aiandyou.org. Previously, Gonzales was a policy executive with Facebook and other tech and telecom companies in Silicon Valley and Washington, D.C. Gonzales co-chairs AI Education and Awareness on the National AI Advisory Committee (NAIAC), advising the White House AI Initiative team. She also sits on the NIST AI Safety Consortium. Gonzales co-authored Enhancing AI Literacy for the United States, NAIAC recommendation to the White House, 2023, and A Pathway to Equity and Inclusion in AI, World Economic Forum 2022. Gonzales sits on the Board of Equal AI.
