Dr. Susan Aldridge became President of Thomas Jefferson University in May 2024 after serving as Interim President and a member of the Board of Trustees. A recognized leader in higher education and healthcare policy, she brings over 30 years of executive experience in some of the nation’s largest universities. She previously served as President of the University of Maryland Global Campus, President of Drexel University Online, and Vice Chancellor at Troy University. She has also worked internationally as a consultant to university presidents and education ministers, and spent a decade directing services for the aging in Denver. A Senior Fellow at the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, she authored Wired for Success and led several U.S. Department of Health and Human Services grants. Dr. Aldridge holds a PhD from the University of Colorado, where her research focused on Medicare reimbursement and patient care outcomes.
