Ruth Gilbert is a business leader, strategist and community advocate who has spent more than 30 years building an unconventional career across four different industries in the Delaware Valley. Taking a non-traditional educational path, she has reinvented herself more than once, starting at the bottom, embracing change, and proving that success isn’t defined by a straight line.
Throughout her career, Ruth has continually redefined what success means for each season of life. She has taken purposeful risks, walked away from opportunities that no longer aligned with her values, challenged the comfort of “golden handcuffs,” and learned when to bloom exactly where she was planted. Each chapter has reinforced the belief that meaningful success is built through courage, curiosity, and staying true to what matters most.
Today, Ruth leads with a servant’s heart, investing in people’s strengths, building diverse, high-performing teams, and mentoring others to pursue careers and lives with intention. She believes our greatest accomplishments aren’t measured solely by titles or income, but by the impact we have on our organizations, our communities, and the people we love.
Ruth currently serves as Publisher of Delaware Today Magazine and The Hunt Magazine, where she leads strategic partnerships, business development, and community initiatives throughout the region to help people flourish where they live, work and play.
