Mika Clark Tupy is Managing Director – Alliances at United Airlines where she is responsible for Pacific and Latin American partnerships and oversees the global strategic direction for United’s Alliance Operations team which strives for a seamless customer experience across United and its partners’ networks.

Prior to her current role, Mika has previously served as Chief of Staff to the President at United Airlines, Assistant General Counsel – Global Competition & Alliances, where she ensured the company’s compliance with competition laws world-wide, provided legal guidance related to United’s global partnerships, and spearheaded special projects related to acquisitions and divestitures, and lastly as the President of BEACON, United’s Black Employee Resource Group, which has over 6400 members across the U.S.

Prior to United, Mika worked in the antitrust group of Crowell & Moring LLP and began her career as a staff attorney in the Bureau of Competition at the Federal Trade Commission.

Mika graduated with honors from Tufts University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in economics and holds a juris doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
