Melissa Taylor

Melissa Taylor is the Vice Chair of Clients & Markets and a member of the U.S. Management Committee at KPMG LLP. She drives firmwide growth by bringing the full breadth of the firm together, strengthening client relationships, and elevating the brand across sectors and geographies. Her leadership centers on listening closely to clients, tackling their complex challenges, and empowering them to navigate change with confidence. With a career spanning over three decades, Melissa has a proven track record of advising leaders of large, global companies, primarily in the Life Sciences and Consumer & Retail sectors. A champion of the full-firm approach, she has led significant Audit accounts and held key leadership positions, including serving on the KPMG Board of Directors and as Audit Sector Lead for Life Sciences. Her global perspective includes a four-year London secondment and serving on the IFRS Advisory Council Board and the KPMG Global Board Audit Quality Committee. What motivates Melissa is building trusted relationships and developing the next generation of leaders. Outside of work, she lives in Virginia with her husband and daughter, loves to travel, and is an avid fan of college football, basketball, and Formula 1.
