Mary Bui-Pham

Dr. Mary Bui-Pham is Vice President, Business Technology and Trust at Indeed. She leads the IT and Operations group in the CIO/CSO organization. Previously, Dr. Bui-Pham served as Vice President/COO for Media Brands & Products at Yahoo where she managed the operations of the Product Development, Design, Accessibility, and Editorial teams responsible for the company’s flagship brands including Yahoo Finance, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo.com, and many others. Prior to Yahoo, Dr. Bui-Pham held various leadership positions in Program Management, Business Operations, QA, and Releasement at eBay and DoubleClick. Dr. Bui-Pham was part of the technical staff at Sandia and Lawrence Berkeley National labs before joining the corporate world. Dr. Bui-Pham was the Chair of the Dean of Engineering Council of Advisors for the Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California, San Diego. She was a Board member and Secretary for the California Conference for Women. Bui-Pham holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego. She is a recipient of the 2025 UCSD Illustrious Alumni award as well as the Distinguished Alumni award from the UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering.
