Lily Seagraves is a 22-year-old Special Olympian who has competed in sports since she was a little girl. She competes in basketball, swimming, bocce, flag football, and baseball. In 2022, Lily was selected to compete in the National Special Olympics Games in Orlando, Florida, and she brought home the gold medal in the 25-meter backstroke.
In addition to playing sports, Lily works three jobs. She is a floral assistant at Kati Mac Florist in West Chester. She works as a special education classroom aide at Penn Wood Elementary in West Chester. Lily also works for the Philadelphia Eagles as a game day staff employee with the Eagles Autism Foundation.
Lily is from Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, and has a deep passion for Philadelphia sports teams. In 2021, she rang the bell at a Philadelphia 76ers game in honor of World Down Syndrome Day.
This fall, Lily will attend West Chester University’s RAM Initiative, a two-year certificate program designed for young adults with intellectual disabilities. She plans on taking classes in journalism and sports marketing.
