Krista Hoglund

Krista Hoglund, ASA, MAAA, MBA, is President of Jefferson Health Plans, leading a 420,000-member organization focused on enterprise transformation, sustainable growth, and payer-provider integration. A seasoned health plan executive with more than 20 years of industry experience, she has delivered more than $200 million in enterprise revenue contributions, improved operational and quality performance, and driven sustained membership growth across Medicare, Medicaid and Affordable Care Act (ACA) programs. Krista has guided complex organizational change, advanced innovation, and aligned health plan and provider strategies to improve quality, affordability and health outcomes. She is an active industry and policy leader, advising boards and influencing healthcare strategy at the national level. Her experience in integrated delivery and financing systems gives her a unique perspective on value-based care, provider partnerships and population health. Before joining Jefferson Health Plans, Krista was Chief Executive Officer of Security Health Plan of Wisconsin. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin System. Krista is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
