Steady Under Pressure: Sustaining Engagement in Dynamic Times

As Vice President of Global Buying Program Sales, Katie Fenton drives Cisco’s go-to-market transformation around software. In this role, she leads a dynamic team that has achieved exponential annual growth in Cisco’s Enterprise Agreements, which scaled from a multi-million to a multi-billion dollar business. A proven leader in the transformation and expansion of Cisco’s Buying Programs, Katie has established a reputation for fostering growth, leading with purpose, and forging trusted partnerships. With more than 18 years at Cisco, Katie has held numerous leadership roles within the Sales organization. Most recently, she spearheaded the Whole Portfolio Agreement (WPA) program, successfully increasing Cisco WPA accounts from 15 to 37, and boosting annual recurring revenue from $800M to $2.5B in three years. Dedicated to mentorship, Katie actively participates in the Cisco Executive Shadow program and serves as a coach to early-in-career account managers, helping them develop essential leadership skills. Katie received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her BBA in Finance from the Red McCombs School of Business. Residing in Austin, Texas, she is married, with two children.
