Emily Nussbaum

EMILY NUSSBAUM is the television critic at The New Yorker. Previously, she was the culture editor at New York, where she created The Approval Matrix and wrote feature articles about a variety of subjects, including gender, pop culture and technology. Other publications she’s written for include The New York TimesSlate, Nerve and the late lamented Lingua Franca. She won the 2014 National Magazine award for “Columns and Commentary” for her work at The New Yorker. She lives in Brooklyn. @emilynussbaum
