Elizabeth Carr

Elizabeth Carr became the first baby born through in-vitro fertilization in the United States in 1981. Carr, who has spoken about fertility and infertility around the world, is currently the social media marketing manager for The Boston Globe and Boston.com. Carr previously worked as the senior health and wellness producer for Boston.com. Carr is a graduate of Simmons College and former Naughton Fellow at the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, Florida.  She also currently blogs about her personal fitness journey on Boston.com’s “Get Moving” blog.
