Dr. Linda Kollmar

Linda Kollmar, MD, FACC is Vice President and Head of Global Medical & Value Capabilities (GMVC). With more than 15 years of biopharmaceutical leadership experience, Linda oversees initiatives that strengthen scientific engagement, drive operational effectiveness, and build strong cross-functional partnerships to advance organizational impact. Throughout her career, Linda has championed the integration of patient perspectives into healthcare decision-making. Since 2022, she has served as Head of Patient Insights & Engagement (PI&E), leading global efforts to embed the patient voice across the product lifecycle. Before joining Merck, Linda practiced as a non-invasive cardiologist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Emory University, a Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University School of Medicine, completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and completed her Cardiology Fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital.
