DOLORES M. SMITH is a seasoned HR executive with over 20 years of experience in organizational transformation, talent development, and strategic initiatives at global pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. She currently serves as VP of HR at Gilead Sciences, leading HR for Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing and a team of 3,500 employees. Smith previously held senior HR roles at Johnson & Johnson, where she led HR strategy for global teams, drove agile methodologies, and managed post-acquisition integration. She holds a master’s in HR management from Rutgers and a BS in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Smith lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her two daughters.
