Crystal Johnson

CRYSTAL JOHNSON is the director of medical clinical operations for Dual Special Needs Plan (DSNP) and Dual Eligible Project (MMP) under UnitedHealthcare Community and State Plan of Texas. UnitedHealthcare’s community plans proudly serve 6.7 million Medicaid members in twenty-eight states, plus Washington D.C. UnitedHealthcare is a division of UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) which is a diversified health and well-being company with a mission to help people live healthier lives and help make the health system work better for everyone. As a health service director within UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Northern Texas, she works extensively with members, physicians, hospitals, service coordinators, regulators, legislators, and community leaders to address issues related to health care accessibility, quality, and affordability. Prior to this role, Johnson served as clinical service manager for Optum. She earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Texas Women’s University in Houston, TX. @uhc
