Cathleen Callahan

Cathy Callahan, Business Banking Northeast Executive and Managing Director, is based in NJ and leads banking teams serving business clients across the continuum from startup to $50MM+ in revenue across all sectors from Maine to Metro New York. Her team delivers a local, digital, and advisory client experience across 21 markets and eight states, providing integrated treasury, credit, risk management, and wealth management solutions that help companies grow and invest for the future. Cathy joined predecessor bank FleetBoston in 2003 and has held a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, she served as New Jersey Market Executive for Global Commercial Banking. Previous roles included Senior Relationship Manager, Sales Performance Manager, and Risk Partner, supporting clients across New York Metro, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the bank, she held positions with Chase Manhattan Bank, UBS, Swiss Bank Corporation, and First Minneapolis, and has also pursued entrepreneurial ventures. Her accomplishments have earned recognition including NJBiz’s Best Fifty Women in Business (2023), the Savvy Ladies Impact Award (2024), the Dominican Pillar Award from St. Dominic Academy, and inclusion on the 2024 ROI-NJ Bankers Influencers List. Cathy holds a BSFS from Georgetown University and an International Business degree from Nijenrode Business University in the Netherlands. She remains active in her community through leadership and volunteer service.
