Carolina Boutaugh

Carolina Boutaugh is the U.S. National Oncology Federal Account Director at AstraZeneca, where she leads the Oncology Federal Account Management team and the national strategy for Hematology and Prostate Cancer across Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and Military Treatment Facilities. During her 20+ year career with AstraZeneca, Carolina has held leadership positions across Sales, Marketing, and Market Access within the Biopharmaceutical and Oncology Business Units. She has a proven record of accelerating business growth, building high-performing teams, and developing strategic partnerships with health systems, integrated delivery networks, and federal healthcare organizations. Her previous roles include National Respiratory Biologics & Federal Account Business Director and Regional Market Access Director. Across these positions, she developed deep expertise in federal accounts, payer strategy, specialty sales leadership, and executive stakeholder engagement. Carolina is a three-time Circle of Excellence Award recipient and has received the CEO Award for Ambition 2030 Transformation of Healthcare Delivery and the Inclusion & Diversity Leadership Excellence Award, among other recognitions. Originally from Quito, Ecuador, Carolina is a committed advocate for diversity and inclusion. She serves in executive roles within AstraZeneca’s Women’s, Military, and Hispanic Employee Resource Groups and has served on the boards of education and health-focused nonprofit organization.
