Carly Carney

Carly Carney is Assistant Vice President of Portfolio Oversight & Strategic Planning and Head of the U.S. Vitality Program at John Hancock. In her role, Carly leads the strategy and evolution of John Hancock Vitality, bringing together health, wellbeing, technology and behavioral science to help customers live longer, healthier, better lives. Carly is passionate about reimagining the role life insurance can play in people’s lives and helping individuals take meaningful steps toward better health and greater longevity. She works across John Hancock and with external partners to translate emerging health and wellness innovations into experiences that create meaningful value for customers. A lifelong Massachusetts native, Carly lives in the Boston area with her husband, two daughters and rescue dog. She is a graduate of Villanova University and holds a Master of Education from Boston University. Outside of work, Carly loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.
