Carla Molina is head of U.S. local markets, Real Estate, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Workforce Development external communications at Bank of America. She leads external communications across the bank’s 97 U.S. markets, with a focus on communicating the company’s commitment to responsible growth, economic mobility, and job creation. She also oversees engagement with Spanish-language and Hispanic media, helping expand the bank’s reach and strengthen its reputation among diverse audiences. From 2021 to 2024, Molina also served as Austin Market Executive, leading local market strategy, community engagement, and employee initiatives while maintaining her national communications responsibilities. Previously, she served as communications executive for Consumer & Small Business, leading communications for major initiatives, including the evolution of the bank’s consumer product suite and digital banking platform. Before joining Bank of America, Molina led Hispanic public relations efforts at Lopez Negrete Communications, supporting clients including Tyson Foods, Walmart, GEICO, VISA, and Bank of America. A recognized communications leader, Molina was named one of PRWeek’s “Top 40 Under 40” and has received national industry honors, including a Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America. She is an active community leader in Austin, serving on several nonprofit and civic boards focused on leadership, education, and philanthropy.
