Brittney S. Rodriguez is President & CEO of Grit + Pearl Public Relations, a Latina-owned, full-service PR and communications firm she founded in 2016, focused on clients contributing creatively to the greater good of the global community. With over 25 years’ experience in media and community engagement, Brittney brings expertise in executive leadership, event execution, reputation management, public speaking, stakeholder outreach, and results-driven legislative and business development strategy. Brittney’s career includes serving as COO for the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where she oversaw operations, legislative strategy, business development, and transportation and infrastructure industry engagement, and contributing to being the leading business resource and advocate for Latinos across Central Texas. She has also worked with the Office of the Attorney General and the Texas State Legislature as an executive speechwriter, and senior legislative strategist. And has served clients across industries from entertainment and education to healthcare, real estate, and hospitality, she has built a reputation for innovative, impactful public engagement strategies. A proud daughter of West Texas’s Big Bend region, Brittney holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Int’l Relations & Political Science from St. Mary’s University. Outside of work, Brittney deeply values time with family and friends, and hiking Austin’s verdant trails with her English Labradors, Bixby & Reese.
