Bonnie Grant joined the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau in 2008 as Executive Director PHL Life Sciences, responsible for marketing Greater Philadelphia, ranked one of the largest life sciences sectors in the country.
Bonnie served more than 10 years in municipal government under of Mayors Edward G. Rendell and John F. Street. She held positions at Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition; the Philadelphia Eagles; Chestnut Hill College, Chestnut Hill Academy and Spring Garden College. She holds a BFA from Tyler School of Art and a master’s in journalism from Temple University.
Bonnie was named as one of City and State PA’s 50 over 50; inducted in 2018 into the Philadelphia Public Relations Hall of Fame; honored one of the Top 20 Trendsetters in the national meetings industry by Meetings Today magazine in 2016; and awarded the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Life Sciences Award in the “Best Consultant” category in 2012. She served as 2024 president of Professional Convention Management Association’s Greater Philadelphia Chapter and has served on several boards, including the Sylvia and Randle Kauders Foundation, iPraxis, Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health, PPRA and the Hospitality Corporate Council for Broad Street Ministry.
