Beth Basham

BETH BASHAM is a senior director in research & development IT at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) in Redwood City, CA. Basham holds a doctorate degree in biochemistry & biophysics from Oregon State University. Her industry career started as a bioinformatics scientist at DNAX Research Institute (Schering Plough/Merck). As she discovered her passion for creating information systems to support drug discovery research and inspiring technologists, she moved into IT and into levels of increasing responsibility. Basham joined BMS in 2017 to translate discovery research business strategy into an aligned IT strategic roadmap and a portfolio of projects which her team delivers on.
