SALLY HELGESEN is considered the gold standard among experts on women’s leadership, and was the first to focus on what women have to contribute to organizations rather than how they need to change and adapt. Her most recent book, How Women Rise, co-authored with Marshall Goldsmith, examines the behaviors most likely to get in the way of successful women. As a speaker and consultant, Helgesen has been ranked among the top 50 leadership authorities by Leadership Excellence magazine. Her previous books include The Female Vision, The Female Advantage and The Web of Inclusion. Helgesen has worked with the United Nations on building more inclusive country offices in Africa and Asia, led seminars at the Harvard School of Education and been visiting scholar at Northwestern University, UNordic Stockholm and the Lauriston Institute in Melbourne Australia.
