CFW Volunteer Code of Conduct
CFW must ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for everyone involved. Volunteers play an integral role in the success of our conferences and are an extension of our organization’s mission and vision. Please review the Code of Conduct policy in its entirety.
Respect and Dignity
Treat everyone with respect
Volunteers will treat all individuals (staff, other volunteers, and attendees) with courtesy, dignity, and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Volunteers will not engage in any type of discrimination or harassment based on race, religion, gender, disability, or any other characteristic.
Confidentiality
Volunteers will keep all personal and sensitive information confidential, honoring the privacy of individuals they interact with.
Professional Conduct
Professionalism
Volunteers will maintain a professional demeanor and avoid engaging in behavior that could compromise their role or the organization’s reputation.
Attendance and punctuality
Volunteers will be punctual and reliable, notifying the organization if they cannot attend scheduled shifts.
Clear communication
Volunteers will communicate effectively and respectfully with all stakeholders, including staff, other volunteers, and attendees.
