Myra Robin

MYRA ROBIN suffered a massive heart attack at age forty three, and was subsequently diagnosed with several heart conditions, including heart failure, Atrial Fibrillation and coronary artery disease. She became a WomenHeart Champion in 2014. She is a wife, mother to two adult children, grandmother to three children and a twin.  She was forced to retire early from a career in sales and manufacturing for the oil and gas industry because of the condition of her heart. She now works part-time for her local parish church. Her engagement with WomenHeart – getting peer to peer support, guidance and encouragement from other women – has allowed her to thrive. She loves to cook, bake, hand paint wine glasses and spend time with her family.  She is a southern Cajun gal from south central Louisiana.
