Michele Matthai believes that to do your best work, you must be able to bring your authentic self to it. She is passionate about creating space for courageous conversations, enabling inclusive leadership, and transforming systems to foster belonging and voice for all.
As Director of Culture, Diversity & Inclusion at Dell Technologies, Michele leads a global team responsible for shaping strategy, programs, and leader enablement to support an inclusive workplace culture.
Michele joined Dell in 2022, bringing over 30 years of experience across the technology and manufacturing sectors in roles spanning international sales, supply chain, HR strategy, talent management, and diversity and inclusion. Prior to Dell, she led the Culture of Inclusion & Diversity function at Rockwell Automation.
She holds an MBA from Marquette University and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Michele and her family live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
