Julie Haase

Julie Haase is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Liberty Mutual Insurance, the eighth-largest global property and casualty insurer. In this role she oversees the company’s global accounting and reporting, planning and capital management, corporate taxation, treasury, enterprise risk management, and mergers and acquisitions groups. Julie joined Liberty Mutual in 2002 as a financial analyst and has since held roles of increasing responsibility across finance, strategy, analytics, and operations. Prior to her current role, Julie served as Executive Vice President, Executive Managing Director, and Chief Operating Officer of Liberty Mutual Investments (LMI), where she and her team delivered financial, operational, administrative, digital, and compliance capabilities to enable LMI’s evolving portfolio. She was also Chief Financial Officer for Global Retail Markets (now US Retail Markets). Julie holds a BS in Management from Providence College and an MBA from Babson College. She also serves on the board of Women’s Lunch Place, a Boston-area day shelter that provides women a path to self-sufficiency, improved health, housing, and financial stability.
