Heidi Durflinger

With more than 20 years working within the travel industry, Heidi Durflinger is CEO of EF World Journeys USA, a leader in guided, experiential tours for adults. EF World Journeys is the family (or portfolio) of brands that includes both EF Ultimate Break (travel for adults 18-35) and EF Go Ahead Tours (all ages, families, and customized trips). During her two decades with the company, Heidi has worked in both direct-to-consumer and group affinity educational travel roles. Her extensive background in the tourism sector includes sales strategy and leadership, service, marketing, market innovation and development, quality control, and risk management. Her interest in cultural exchange and travel stems from childhood. Her family brought the world to her small hometown in Kansas by hosting international students for 10 years, giving her a truly global extended family. She has lived in Mexico and Spain and is currently based out of our North American headquarters in Boston. Adventure, food, fitness, and travel are her passions!
