Carol Fishman Cohen

Carol Fishman Cohen is the Co-founder of iRelaunch, now part of the global workforce solutions company Akraya. iRelaunch is the pioneering leader in career reentry, helping thousands of mid-career professionals return to the workforce after extended leave. It works with employers worldwide to access, hire, and onboard returners, often through establishing in-house career reentry programs. iRelaunch produces the iRelaunch Return to Work Conference and Job Fair, the largest and longest-running career reentry event in the U.S., and leads a community of more than 175,000 professionals looking to return to work after career breaks ranging from one to more than 20 years. Cohen, a returner herself, is recognized globally for her leadership in career reentry. She is a regular contributor to Harvard Business Review on career reentry topics. Her TED talk, “How to Get Back to Work After a Career Break”, has nearly 3.8 million views. She has hosted nearly 300 episodes of the 3,2,1 iRelaunch podcast and most recently, 100 Job Seeker Video Tips. Harvard Business School wrote a case study on Cohen’s return to work at Bain Capital after an 11-year career break, and Stanford GSB wrote a case study on iRelaunch and career reentry. Cohen is a graduate of Pomona College and Harvard Business School.
